Green lemonade is wonderful all right, but can we make it more interesting? You bet. Winter months or rainy days need some lemonade with a zing in addition to the familiar refreshing sweetness.
In this twist to our original green lemonade, we introduce chili powder and cumin (jeera), and replace basil with cilantro. The result is a sweet and spicy lemonade that needs to be savored slowly, gently. Perhaps with a sweet and spicy novel for company on a rainy afternoon.
