Dino Kale Salad

Dino Kale SaladA warm and hearty salad, perfectly suited for the cold season. Kale’s earthy flavor and nutritive value trumps almost every other cruciferous green we know of, and it is rightfully accorded full honors in this profoundly healthy recipe.

The holiday season is known to generally add on some natural concerns of cholesterol math and accounting. Kale, when steamed, is one of your best recourses to brushing away those cholesterol blues, especially if you can make this salad twice or thrice a week, which is eminently possible with this perfectly easy to make salad. In fact, sans the lemon juice, there is no active salad dressing to speak of here. However, we do have a dressing in our videos which is a perfect compliment.

Kale is in many ways the perfect green, a great source of calcium and a fabulous immunity booster. In conjunction with the carrots, bing cherries and watermelon radish, this is a visually colorful creation. Kale is also a detoxifying vegetable par excellence.
