Vaidya Priyanka or (Vaidyaji as she is often called) comes from a 720 year old lineage of women Ayurvedic healers from Kerala,India.
In her practices all over the world, she teaches the principles of Ayurveda and how to integrate the various applications of this ancient science alongside nutritional supplements of the West — medicated oil applications, aromatherapy, color therapy, yoga, nutrition, music, cooking, dance, exercise and meditation—into people’s daily lifestyles as part of their own healing journey.
Her clients gain an understanding of the nature of various foods and their importance in health, and learn to utilize Ayurvedic techniques of internal cleansing, detoxification, and rejuvenation for the restoration of health.
She also teaches 3, 5 and 9 day retreats on the various aspects of Ayurveda, detox, purification, chanting, healing cuisine and meditation. She continues to practice Ayurveda in India, Europe, and the Americas. Vaidyaji is also an accomplished Marma therapy healer and has educated and helped people all over the world live healthier and happier lives.
She likes to heal through vegan food and has launched her own cuisine called AUMcuisine. She teaches very exquisite cooking classes with a high focus on therapeutic and nutritional content of the ingredients.
Now based in the SF Bay Area, California, she continues to practice Ayurveda with passion. She travels all over the world to bring about healing. She says, “…healing is so natural, we have to allow it to be part of our lives.”
Vaidya Priyanka is an accomplished speaker and speaks regularly at many venues on various topics that include Ayurveda, Food, Spirituality, Yoga and Meditation. Vaidyaji is also a Board certified Holistic Health Practitioner. She is a member of the AADP(American Association of Drugless Practitioners). She is actively involved in several non-profit ventures all over the world.
